雪ミク2017 (星の海)

This is my entry for snow miku 2017 contest.


Hokkaido is popular due to it's natural resources, also it is popular to travel there by boat cause it is surrounded by sea and lakes.

This is why I designed Miku and Yukine based on Sailors.
Miku includes a Poncho and Beret to protect her from the cold.

Sailors before used stars as navigation and season indicators.


1.) The constellations on her skirt are the Northern Winter constellations.

2.) Yukine's design is based on the Winter Triangle constellations. Yukine includes a telescope to see the star positions.

3.) The Base/Stand is based on "Polaris". The northern star that doesn't change it's position, mostly seen on north pole.

4.) Miku includes a star bell based on how sailors used the bell to tell the time.
